Radiation hardening is the process of making systems and electronics components resistant to ionizing radiation (particle radiation and high-energy electromagnetic radiation) which can cause damage and leave systems non-operational. Environments with high levels of ionizing radiation include outer space, high altitudes, areas near nuclear reactors and particle accelerators, and nuclear warfare or nuclear accidents. Components of many space and military systems are designed and manufactured to ensure functionality in these environments such as spacecraft, satellites, military aircraft and nuclear power stations.
We are currently focused on the research and development of radiation hardened systems for various military, space and technology applications.
